 March 15th, Retrophonics Studios - Jim and I worked on "Dust Them Blinds", "Back Again" and "Come On".

March 15th, Songwriter's Night - It was Bob's birthday (80th)! Tonight we ad Sam Pacetti and Amy Hendrickson with us. If you weren't there you missed a good one. Rum Cake Jim was bering his famous rum cakes. Carol also brought some gluten free cup cakes. Thanks for supporting original music in St. Augustine.

March 16th, DAVE at Pizzalley's Chianti Room - The place was packed! I guess the best happy hour in town is catching on. I'll be back the 3rd Tuesday of April 3pm to 6pm, stop on by.

March 17th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Great St. Patty's Day! We had a good fun crowd. Alan Jeffrey (friend of Tony's from Buffalo) sat in on Sax. 

March 18th - Corner Bar - Carpetbaggers (DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony)

A packed night! Everyone was up for it. Alan Jeffery sat in with us on sax, he kicked butt! Hopefully we will try to write some songs together in the future. Thanks for supporting Carpetbaggers music! Also thanks to Don Oja Dunaway, Martin, JC and friends for hangin' out with us.

March 19th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at Tides and Oyster Company - I don't think we have ever had a bad night at this venue. Tonight was no different. We had a blast! See you the 3rd Friday in April.

March 20th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue Zaharias  - We cancelled due to the weather. See you in May!

March 22nd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony Private Party - Cancelled due to weather, will be rescheduled.

It's been a nice couple days off because of the weather. I'm looking forward to doing some mixing at Retrophonics Studios with Jim DeVito. Also looking forward to working with Dan this week on "Live and A Little Touched". Thanks for letting me live my dream! Keepin' It Real!-David

 March 8th, No gig today, I worked in the yard and talked to Bob Paterson. The Carpetbaggers will be playing at the Gamble Rogers Festival on May 3rd around 2pm. I will see who wants to join me. Later we will be at San Sebastian Winery.

March 9th, DAVE at The St. Augustine Fish House and Oyster Co - I was solo this night and I had a great night inside the bar area. The wind was blowing pretty much the whole night. Good to see Duffy and Chris from the Duffy Bishop Band. Thanks Yvonne and staff you guys were great. See you next month!

March 10th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at Hurricane Grill and Wings - A beautiful evening outside. We had a great crowd and a lot of fun. It's hard not to enjoy the evening working with Sue. See you next week! Thanks Abe, JJ and staff you guys are the best!

March 11th, Bagan & Company -  Dan and I went over where we were with "Live And A Little Touched". We are a lot closer to completion than we thought. Look out for our new release of 12 videos soon.

March 12th, 13th and 14th, DAVE at the Big Deck - What a fantastic weekend! This might be the best one I've had in years! It was good to see Joel and Michelle. Thank you Darlene and Bryan and thank you Cedar Key.

 March 1st, Retrophonics Studios - We had Sue Westcott in the studio today working on "Safe Travels", a song I wrote for my brother Will. Sue arranged the string lines. We also did some work on "This Romance" a song I have wanted to record for years. We are getting closer to completing our next  Carpetbaggers' CD "Back Again". I hope to get with Dan Bagan at Bagan & Company to start the artwork and layout for the CD and to do some work on "Live and a Little Touched" my new project.

March 2nd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Frankie, Sue and Tony at the Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine with  Bagan and Company "Live" - We had a great show, even though it seemed I did everything I could to derail it. It was great having Frankie back, Sue and Tony kicked butt. Dan and Clay never cease to amaze me with their talent. Theresa and Wayne are always there for us. It was great having a small live audience. Can't wait for next month!

March 3rd,  Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue - Hurricane Grill and Wings - We had one of those special nights. We didn't think there would be many folks because the weather was so bad. There turned out to be a hell of a crowd. We worked hard and it felt good. It was good to see Mike DeBetta. I'm going to listen to his new CD today.

March 4th, Bagan and Company - We went over notes and video's to find out where we are on the "Live and a little Touched" project. We've been working on this since 2017 can't wait to finish this one. 

March 4th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony at Corner Bar - We had a great night! It's always a pleasure to play with this talented bunch. It was good to see Don Oja Dunaway and his friends and all our other friends that come out each week to support us.  Thanks we really do appreciate your support for Carpetbaggers music.

March 5th, DAVE a t Aunt Kate's - I had a great evening out on the porch by the water! It got a little chilly near the end. Thanks Brian, Tina, Dave and staff!

March 6th,  Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony at San Sebastian Winery - It was a nasty night so we set up inside. Turned out to be a great night. I was a little off my game but everyone jumped in and helped me out. Thanks! It was good to hear TJ Brown, he was playing when I came in to set up. See you back here March 26th.

February 22nd, Retrophonics Studios - Jim and I worked on the mixing "The Desert" and started on "This Romance". We are moving right along, can't wait for everyone to hear what we have been up to.

February 23rd -I was off so Brianna, Braylen, Theresa and I went out to Corner Sushi to celebrate Theresa's birthday today.

February 24th - Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at Hurricane Grill and Wings - What a great night! The place was packed! We made some new friends tonight! Thanks Abe, JJ and staff you guys are the best! See you next week! 

February 25th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Woody Pernell at the Corner Bar - Another great night! Everyone was on their game. We tried a new instrumental "In My Life". Tony does a great job on this. We missed Frankie but Woody Pernell kicked butt! Frankie will be back next week. Thanks everyone!

February 26th, 27th and 28th, Jupiter FL -  Theresa and I went to visit Joel Wilson, a friend of ours from Virginia. Joel was a fantastic host! We were able to hang out at the beach some. He and Michele took us out on his boat. We also ate at some great restaurants Schooners, Crabby's and Square Grouper to name a few.  Also, as chance would have it, I ran into my old bandmate Al Johnson with his group Americana Jones. They were performing at Winston's Bar and Grill not far from where we were staying. It was a great few days and Joel and Michele were a blast to hang out with. Hopefully we can do this again sometime.

February 15th, Retrophonics Studios - Jim and I worked on the mixes "Dust Them Blinds" and "Old Broken Hearts". Frankie should be in the studio next week and together we should finish the background vocals.

February 16th, DAVE at Pizzalley's Chianti Room - I gad a great afternoon on the porch,  nice crowd, nice day. They have the best happy hour in town! See you the 3rd Tuesday in March!

February 17th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Tony at Hurricane Grill and Wings - The weather was bad so we set up in the tent. It was a small but mighty crowd. We missed Sue but Tony did a great job!

February 18th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Woody and Tony at Corner Bar - Sue is out of town and Frankie was a little under the weather. Woody Pernell came to the rescue. We had a great night it was Sir Jim's 74th and the Bunnyman Jim provided the rum cake. We made some nice music tonight we should have the whole gang back next week. Thanks for supporting Carpetbaggers music.

February 19th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Tony at Tides and Oyster Company - Tony and I had a great night at Tides Oyster Co. - Thanks everyone who showed up. See you the 3rd Friday of next month.

February 20th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Tony at Zaharias - I went over to set up and it was windy and cold. Not a night I wanted either Tony or I to sit and play in. So we cancelled. I met Tony at the Taco Queen on 207 to give him the rest of his pay from last night. We had a couple beers, chips, salsa and queso. This looks like it might be a place I might bring Theresa down to and check it out sometime. The customers were all raving about how good the food was.

February 21st, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - I had a nice afternoon on the porch by the water. Brady Green and Doug Hyde stopped by. See you in 2 weeks!

 February 8th, Retrophonics Studio - Jim and I had Sue and Frankie in to do background vocals. They knocked it out of the park. They sang on "Come On", "This Romance" and "Back Again". Next week Frankie and I will be in to finish up the rest of the harmonies. We are getting closer to completion.

February 9th, DAVE at The St. Augustine Fish House and Oyster Co. - It turned out to be a nice crowded night! It was good to see Sue and Wayne and Dan and Suzy along with a host of others. This is a nice place come check it out!

February 10th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at Hurricane Grill and Wings - We had a great night playing in the fog. We tried a new tune of mine "Say Grace". Thanks for coming out everyone on a night like this. Thanks Abe, JJ and staff!

February 11th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony at the Corner Bar - What a night! We tried a couple new tunes, one Frankie sang called " Go Rest High on the Mountain"and one I wrote called "Say Grace" for the first time with the whole band. Thanks for supporting our Carpetbaggers Music.

February 12th, 13th and 14th, DAVE at the Big Deck Bar and Grill - It was Valentine's Day weekend. I had a great three days in Cedar Key! The weather was pretty nasty but it didn't stop folks from stopping by for some music. See you the second weekend of March. Michelle was in town and stopped in, she is a songwriter from Ocala. She has done a couple of the Songwriter's Nights with us at the Corner Bar in St. Augustine. Thanks Bryan, Darlene and staff you guys are the best!

Jim and I will keep working on the mixes for the Carpetbaggers new CD "Back Again". I'm looking forward to Songwriter's Night tonight at The Corner Bar. Thanks for letting me live my dream! Keepin' It Real! -David

 February 1st, Retrophonics Studio - Frankie's voice was bothering him so Jim DeVito and I decided to continue mixing. We will try to get Frankie, Sue and I scheduled for background vocals in next week. Jim and I worked on the mixes for "My Tractor" and "Come On". I listened to the mixes of all 12 tunes when I got home and was really moved. Everyone has done such a great job.

February 2nd, The Carpetbaggers, DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony, Bagan and Company "Live"streaming from the Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine - We had a fun show. Everyone did a great job! Thanks Dan Bagan, Clay, Wayne, Theresa and The Classic Car Museum Of St. Augustine. - We couldn't do this without you all. Also Thanks Pete Melfi from "904 Now" for joining in. 

February 3rd, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue, We cancelled due to the cold weather!

February 5th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was pretty nasty out, not really rain but misty. I played for a couple hours then had to give it up. Thanks to all the folks that rode it with me.

February 6th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony at San Sebastian Winery - The weather was bad so we set up inside. We had a great night! Thanks Kyle and staff see you next month.

Earlier today I went to Braylen's flag football game, he's on the Raiders they are 2 and 2 for the season.  He made his first touchdown today.

February 7th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - What a great afternoon on the porch by the water! Afterwards Theresa and I went to Yaron and Tammy's place to watch the first half of the Superbowl. Sue and Wayne were there too. We had a fun time.
