6-17 Jekyll Island - Stopped by the Island to pick up Ed. He was playing with the WharfRatz. Theresa and myself listened to a few songs and went to rest at 9A Pierson. We got on the road about 11:30. Virginia here we come.

6-18 AC's, Coles Point, Virginia, NorthStar - Arrived safe. We will be at AC's tonight. I can't wait....
Great gig, everyone was real nice, it was a blast! Jim Miner sat in, he did a great job! Also did a song Jarle Brors. It was great to see and play with my old friend.

6-22 Hurricane Patty's, Those Guys - We're back!!! It was a good night! Ron Norris stopped by. Also, Travis sat in again.

It was a great road trip! I miss getting out to new places and seeing new faces. The idea is to get my music to as many ears as possible. that's what I plan to do. I have been so lucky to have so many friends that support what I believe in. Because of that I will take whatever steps it takes to keep creating new original music. Thanks for helping my dream come true. "Keepin' It Real" — David

see you down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6-8 Hurricane Patty's, Those Guys - It was Barry's birthday! All the Dunaway's and many more were there. We had a great time! Gregg sat in for a couple of tunes, sounded great! Gregg also wrote and read a great toast to Jim Dunaway for this birthday the week before Gregg had missed.

6-9 Oasis, NorthStar - Ed was in Virginia so Wayne Johnston joined me for the night. We had a great gig. It was nice to see a couple Those Guys fans coming to check it out. Thanks!

6-10 Eclipse - Sat with Stafford today to make the final decisions on what each song needs. It got me kind of exited, we are a lot closer that I expected. I also put a guitar track on Poor-dum and I've decided to put this song on my next release "Hopeless Romantic". That means there will be 11 cuts, 9 originals, 2 covers. I can't wait!

Oasis, Those Guys - We had the whole band there. It was a good night, we had fun!!

6-11 The Clover Room @ Finnegan's Wake, Those Guys - We had a decent crowd, but there is still a lot of work to do with the sound. Everyone was pretty unhappy with the night generally. Shawn and staff are working on the problems, I'm sure they will take care of it and that the room will someday soon come around.

6-14 NSAI meeting - Had a great time! A lot of new writers. Looking forward to July's meeting.

In closing, getting ready for my Virginia trip with Ed. I hope this is the first of many trips in the future. Also looking forward to getting back with Those Guys after our needed break. I would like to thank everyone who comes out to see those Guys, NorthStar and The Hackers. I am living my dram and with your support you're helping me do that!

see you down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6-1 Tuesday, Those Guys at Hurricane Patty's - We had an unbelievable night with The Hackers, sometimes that slows the next day down a little. We still had fun. Nobody was in that great of shape vocally or physically. We worked real hard and we got the job done the best we could.

6-2 Wednesday, NorthStar at the Rah Bar, Latitude 31, Jekyll Island, GA - Wayne Johnston and myself headed up to Jekyll to play some music with my brother Ed (our group is called NorthStar). The weather was a little rough at first but we hung in there and everything turned out alright. We had a good gig and made some money for the American Red Cross. Everyone was real nice, it was a fun gig. Later we stopped down at the Villas. Ed, Wayne and myself, we had a sandwich and a beer and shot the shit a little. Then decided to head on home. Everyone got home safely from the road gig. It felt good to get out of town. I'll be doing that more often in the future. It's the way it's done. It can't wait!

6-3 Thursday Those Guys at Oasis - We had the whole band this night. Still not in good voice but, the guys kicked in and the night went good. Barry, good luck on your gigs with Jimi Jamison. We will be here when you get back. We have a couple of different line ups for the next couple of days. Should be interesting. Today I got back in the studio to mix some on my new efforts "Hopeless Romantic" and NorthStar's, "Keepin it Real". This is what it is all about for me. Writing and making new original music. I can't wait for everyone to hear it!!! Got a new idea, that is a good sign, that means that all of the projects and the bullshit stepped aside for a minute and let me think of something new to say. I think it's the trips out of town in the next few months that will produce some new music. I can't wait!

6-4 Friday Those Guys Shaughnessy's Sports Grill - We had a good night. Marty and staff are great! It was a little bit of a different sound. I liked it.

6-5 Saturday Those Guys Shenanigans - It's our first time in here under the new name. Everybody was great! I mean really great! Good job Kurt!! (Barry's in Chicago with Jimi Jamison)

6-6 Sunday Those Guys Finnegan's Wake - We had a good time! Kurt seemed a little tired (he said he only had a couple of hours of sleep), but he came around quick!Walt and Kurt were a lot of fun to hang out with and play! Thanks Deb, great job!

In closing, it's been a rough week. My voice was giving me a hard time. somehow made it through and looking forward to next week. I missed Barry, but Kurt did a great job. I will be meeting with Jim Stafford this week to decide what we need to do to get solo CD #2 "Hopeless Romantic" completed. Thanks everyone for coming out to support our music!!

see you down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were without Walt and I was feeling like shit, but the show must go on and it did! Great job everybody. I'm proud to share the stage with each and evreyone of you!!!

I have my life long friend Chuck Caudill putting some guitar tracks on the new CD I'm working on "Hopeless Romantic". I already have my life long friend Jim Miner on the CD. This is becoming a very special project for me. I can't wait for everyone to hear it!!! Also, I hope to have a version of Poor-dum out soon!
