December 5th, Retrophonics Studio - I liked what John Medico from One Good Ring played on "Rocket". Jim and I got the rest of the tunes up to date fro my next release Poor-Dum. I'm starting to get excited! Theresa and I had a late lunch with Wayne and Sue at Jimmy Hula's, a place we are talking about maybe doing a Carpetbaggers show.

December 7th - Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and maybe Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings -No Frankie this evening, he was giving drum lessons at his church. The rest of us had a great night, the place was packed! Thanks to everyone that showed up and thanks to all the wonderful folks at Hurricane Grill and Wings. See you next week!

December 8th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie Pelican Pub - What a great night! A beautiful way to end our week with the Carpetbaggers! Everyone was in a festive spirit, so were our friends old and new. I'll be heading over to the gulf coast for the weekend.

December 9th, 10th and 11th, Duffy's Tavern, Holmes Beach, Anna Marie Island, Benefit for Toys For Tots - It was a great time! I love doing this each year, I think this is year 7. Spending time with Chuck and Dara and the Duffy burgers are just icing on the cake. It never seems long enough. I'm looking forward to next year and maybe a visit or two in between. Thanks to all the folks at Duffy's Tavern, all the great musicians and most of all, the great folks that help make a better Christmas and Toys for Tots.

I'm not going in the studio for the next two weeks, there's just to much going on. I hope Jim gets a chance to finish "My Chevrolet" in my absence. I'm looking forward to the Songwriter's Night and doing a couple shows with Frankie and Tony. Then we're off to the mountains with the family, Sue, Wayne and the one they call Jim. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real! - David

see you down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

November 28th, Retrophonics Studio - Jim and I laid down tracks for a new tune "The Giver and Taker" Frankie was under the weather and couldn't make the session. Johnny from One Good Ring was getting the kit ready for the session, he might of made a run through the tune "Rocket".

November 30th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was a nice night tonight even with the nasty weather. The rain gave us a break right after we set up in the tent area. A little tight but everyone seemed to make do. Thanks everyone for supporting our music!

December 1st, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at the Pelican Pub - We had a nice night! Thanks Jeff, Jennifer and staff you guys are the best!

December 2nd, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - There was not a lot of folks out dinning this evening. It still was a great time playing out on the porch by the water. See you this Sunday 1 to 4.

December 3rd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at San Sebastian Winery - This gig is long but it was a fun night! It's not a great load-in and the gig is an hour to long. I wish they'd would go back to 3 hours. It's a beautiful to play though, on the roof, especially this time of year with all the lights and Kyle and staff are great!

December 4th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - I had a great afternoon on the porch by the water! I love playing here and great folks to work for. Thank you Aunt Kate's!

Moving ahead on Poor-Dum my new solo CD. Can't wait to put what tracks we have together and send them out to my friend Lou Hager from The North Star Band to add some keyboards. Also Tony Scozzaro from the Carpetbaggers to add some guitar. I can't wait to hear the drum tracks John Medico from One Good Ring put on "Rocket". It will be a fun day. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real!- David
