9-19 A much needed day off!

9-20 Went out to Barry and Lydia's campsite at Anastasia State Park. Jim was along too. We had a great dinner, told some stories, had some laughs, then headed home. Thank you guys for a great evening!

9-21 Hurricane Patty's, Those Guys - Ron Norris sat in. He sounded great! That's all I remember about that night.

9-22 Capt. Stan's, NorthStar - Rockin' Bob is the bartender now! What a trip! Also meet a man who used to come and see me and Ed when we were The Seiners at Church hill's Attic. He has a grown family now. Time flies when you're having fun. We had a great time. Stan, thanks for everything!

9-23 Oasis, Those Guys - Kind of a slow night! Had a good night...the end is near! Looking forward to playing with Chris on Friday. Barry will be in Mexico.

9-24 Oasis, Those Guys - Barry's in Mexico so Chris sat in. He sounded great! Danny Roberts also sat in for a couple. You kicked ass Danny! I have one more gig with Those Guys at the Oasis. I will miss playing with my friends but I won't miss the volume!

9-25 Capt. Stan's, NorthStar - We had a great night! This is a pretty cool place and the people are great! If you're headed up the highway stop by and say hey to Stan and staff (Woodbine, GA).

9-26 Went by Hurricane Patty's to see Chris, Dewey and Rita. They sounded real good. Those boys can pick! Had a good time, maybe we'll try something down the road.

In closing, I have two more gigs and then this is really the end. I have enjoyed my time with Those Guys. I hope to do a few gigs with them from time to time. I hope you will continue to support my music in the future! Good Luck to the guys and I'll see you down the road! Keepin' It Real -David

9-13 Jack & Diane's, Fernandina, FL - Went to my NSAI songwriting meeting. Haven't been for a while. It was good to see Chris. Also a good writer from Jax, think his name was Tim. Played "The Bunny Man Blues" and "Oil and Water". The second song I co-wrote with a girl from NSAI, Beverly. It was a good time.

9-14 Eclipse - Was in the studio with Woody. He did a great job on Yankee Lady going on my new CD Hopeless Romantic. I'm excited about this CD again, it's getting close.

Hurricane Patty's, Those Guys - There wasn't a huge crowd, but we played great! Good job guys!

9-15 Oasis, Solo - Ed had some business to take care of in Virginia so I was on my own at Oasis. Met some great people. Did a 3 and 1/2 hour set. Had a great time. I'll be back solo on Oct 26th.

9-16 Oasis, Those Guys - Had a good time! Rock on! from the folk guy!

9-17 McCharacter's, Those Guys - Had a great night! A lot of people sat in, too many to remember. The one I enjoyed most was the owner, he played and sang Mustang Sally. Great job!

9-18 McCharacter's, Those Guys - Okay night, made it through.

In closing, I had a good week playing. Got some things done in the studio. Virginia coming soon. I need a break! Getting real excited about my new adventure. Life is good. Thanks for your support everybody! "Keepin' It Real" -David

8-30 Hurricane Patty's, The Hackers - Had a great gig. Thanks for coming out everyone! See you next month!

8-31 Hurricane Patty's, Those Guys - Sometimes when we have a big Hackers night the next night with Those Guys suffers. It was a pretty good night, the highlight was Ron Norris sitting in and doing some of his own music. Good stuff Ron!

9/1-9/2 No gigs, getting ready for Virginia trip. Thursday night, after Ed's gig on Jekyll with the WharfRatz we left for Virginia.

9/3 Coles Point Tavern, NorthStar - What a great gig! Frankie from Those Guys sat in on percussion, sounded great! Rumor has it that we will be seeing him in October! Ed flew back to Jekyll early Saturday. Thanks for being there Pickett!

9/4 & 9/5 Coles Point Tavern, Those Guys - We had a great weekend. Randy and Scott wanted to know what I wanted to do about future gigs. I told them it was up to Those Guys, if they want to join me and Ed? The April 22-23 gig will be Those Guys with NorthStar. It should be a lot of fun! Scott and CMO sat in on drums. Good job guys!

In closing, I can't thank Randy, Scott and Carla enough. You really take care of us and we appreciate it! It was great to see Donna and Bill (Shadow Mountain Music, my Nashville bosses). Looking forward to seeing you all in October. I would also like to thank all the family for showing up. I miss you guys and love you very much!!! "Keepin' It Real" -David
