March 1st, Retrophonics Studios - We had Sue Westcott in the studio today working on "Safe Travels", a song I wrote for my brother Will. Sue arranged the string lines. We also did some work on "This Romance" a song I have wanted to record for years. We are getting closer to completing our next Carpetbaggers' CD "Back Again". I hope to get with Dan Bagan at Bagan & Company to start the artwork and layout for the CD and to do some work on "Live and a Little Touched" my new project.
March 2nd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Frankie, Sue and Tony at the Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine with Bagan and Company "Live" - We had a great show, even though it seemed I did everything I could to derail it. It was great having Frankie back, Sue and Tony kicked butt. Dan and Clay never cease to amaze me with their talent. Theresa and Wayne are always there for us. It was great having a small live audience. Can't wait for next month!
March 3rd, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue - Hurricane Grill and Wings - We had one of those special nights. We didn't think there would be many folks because the weather was so bad. There turned out to be a hell of a crowd. We worked hard and it felt good. It was good to see Mike DeBetta. I'm going to listen to his new CD today.
March 4th, Bagan and Company - We went over notes and video's to find out where we are on the "Live and a little Touched" project. We've been working on this since 2017 can't wait to finish this one.
March 4th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony at Corner Bar - We had a great night! It's always a pleasure to play with this talented bunch. It was good to see Don Oja Dunaway and his friends and all our other friends that come out each week to support us. Thanks we really do appreciate your support for Carpetbaggers music.
March 5th, DAVE a t Aunt Kate's - I had a great evening out on the porch by the water! It got a little chilly near the end. Thanks Brian, Tina, Dave and staff!
March 6th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony at San Sebastian Winery - It was a nasty night so we set up inside. Turned out to be a great night. I was a little off my game but everyone jumped in and helped me out. Thanks! It was good to hear TJ Brown, he was playing when I came in to set up. See you back here March 26th.
