June 18th, Dave at The World Famous Oasis - All is well in the land of the 44 TVs! Got to catch Henry's show it was good!

June 19th, Dave at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Had a nice time.  This is a good place! Thanks Abe and staff!

June 20th, Dave at Eclipse - Had Brady with me. We got the new parts that Ed played on " Evil People" in order.  Happy birthday Jim Stafford!

June 20th, Dave at The Corner Bar - Had a nice crowd! My dad was down.  Thats always a good time! Good job Kruz as always!

June 21st, Dave at Aunt Kate's - Stopped a little early the weather was turning pretty bad! After breaking down stopped by Hurricane Patty's and caught Chris C4Man's show.  I enjoyed it!

June 22nd, NorthStar with Brady Green and Woody Pernell at JT's Seafood - Had a lot of fun. It is a real pleasure to share the stage with these guys!

June 23rd - NorthStar at Private Party (New Sermurna Beach) - It was Millie's 90th and we had a blast! Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!

June 11th, NorthStar at The World Famous Oasis - Always good to get together with brother Ed. George Reeves sat in on slide. He sounded great and what a great guy! Billy and Amber also stopped by! All is well in the land of the 44 TVs.

June 12th, Dave at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Had a pretty good hot night! At least it didn't rain!

June 13th, Dave at The Corner Bar - What a blast! Played some of my tunes I haven't played in a long time. Kruz did a good job!

June 14th, Dave at Aunt Kate's - I was inside.  We had a pretty good storm. After the gig, I stopped down and saw The Three Peace Band at Creekside.  It's good to see my old friends!

June 15th, Dave at Zaharias - It seem like it's been a long time since i've played here. Always fun!  Great people! Headed down to the Sand Bar afterwards and had a drink or 3 with my friends!

June 16th, Dave at Harry's - The place was packed! Had a great time met some new faces. Solo stopped down I haven't seen him in years.

May 3rd thru June 2nd,Virginia Trip - Dave and Theresa - First of all we both got to visit our family and friends. Had lunch with Randy Watts (brought him some equipment). Went fishing at Belvedere Beach with my Dad and Uncle Charlie. Got to hang out with Bob, Denis and Ray (Kill Devil).  Also watch them play. There were so many other old friends I saw it was a blast! Thanks for the invite Chris and Robin and Happy Anniversary!

June 4th, Hurricane Patty's - It's good to be back home. Brady Green sat in!

June 5th, Eclipse - NorthStar/DAVE - Got a mix on "I'm Flying", "This Romance Just Went Bust" and "Poor-dom" for the next NorthStar CD.  Also fooled around with some ideas for "Took Off Like A Rocket".

June 5th, Hurricane Grill; and Wings - Rain out!

June 6th, The Corner Bar - Had a nice crowd! Kruz did a good job! Dave Johnson and Mark Dobes stopped by.  It was good to hang out for a bit!

June 7th, 8th and 9th, The Big Deck Raw Bar - What a great weekend! Dennis and Chris showed up (they were camping and said it was a great site). Always good to see Pete, Pat and Willy.

May 24th, Dave at Aunt Kate's - It was a nice night, had a big crowd. Later went by Hurricane Patty's and saw Mr. Natural.

May 25th, The Big Lonesome at The Bagan's 20th Anniversary Party - Had a blast! It was good to get together with The Big Lonesome.  I wish we could have done more of our songs. Thanks Dan and Susie!

May 26th, Dave and 3 Peace Band at Creekside - Another great evening! It was good to play with my old band mates (Barry, Billy and Woody). Also enjoyed playing with Jim Sexton! Looking forward to July 12th at Creekside again.

May 27th, The Super Hackers at Hurricane Patty's - Another packed night! Wes Talton and Chris C4Man sat in.

May 28th, NorthStar at Oasis - Had a lot of fun playing with brother Ed in the land of the 44 TVs.

May 29th, NorthStar at Eclipse - Ed laid tracks on a George Jones tune.

May 20th, NorthStar with Frankie Urzetta at Zaharias - Packed night! Rick Kincicky stopped by! Britteny Lawrence got up and sang "Independence Day". Brady is dealing with family issues and needed some time off. Frankie and Woody will be covering for him. Tonight it was Frankie with us and he kicked butt! Thanks Angelica and staff!

May 21st, Dave and The Big Lonesome at Eclipse - Woody was in playing percussion on "Mr Song", "Evil People" and "There's No I in Team".  After that, Gregg showed up and we worked on "Wait a Minute" and "Don't Ever Let It Get You Down"

May 23rd, Dave at The Corner Bar - Great night! Missed Kruz, though. I will be gone next week. Daryl Wise will be performing in my place. He is a great singer/songwriter.  If I was here I would be there to see him!

May 7th, Dave/ The Big Lonesome at Eclipse - Layed down a new track "2 Manatees Kissin'" for my new CD. Listened to another track I had cut a long time ago "My Closest Friend".  I'm glad I found the track in the archives, but I am going to have to re-cut it. Frankie showed up and we spent some time on some of our new songs. "Don't Ever Let it Get You Down" a song I wrote with Chris McVey, and " Wait a Minute", a song written by Herb Petersen. Gove Srivenor stopped by and checked out some of the tunes.

May 7th, Dave at Hurricane Patty's -Had a pretty nice crowd. Sam Brown stopped by.

May 8th, Dave at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Had a nice crowd. At least the weather was good for a change!

May 9th, Dave at The Corner Bar - I was a little under the weather but made it through. Kruz did a good job (his 100th sit in).

May 10th/11th, Dave at SeaJays - Both nights were kind of quite but I was sick as a dog. Had plenty of time to rest between gigs somehow I made it.

May 12th, Savannah Singer Songerwriter Tybee Edition at the American Legion Post 154 - Happy Mothers Day! I drove up to Tybee had some lunch (Huc-A-Poos), then drove to the Legion and passed out in my truck to wait for the show. I always enjoy hanging out with other song writers. Jefferson Ross was in the audience (one of my favorite writers). I had a blast.  Got in my truck and drove back home. Thanks Roy!

I am going to be working on my new CD this week "Mr. Song to Evil people".  When I am finished I should have about 24 songs to pick from. I plan on putting 10 songs on the CD. April 29th, The Super Hackers at Hurricane Patty's - It's always fun getting together with these guys! Chris C4Man sat in and did a great job! Chris was with a friend that got up and played also.

May 1st, Dave at Hurricane Grill and Wings - I was real lucky the rain came and went right after I set up. The night turned out pretty good!

May 2nd, Dave at The Corner Bar - What a night the place was packed! These are the ones you dream of! The weather was awful and Kruz had to leave before performing. Thanks for a fun night everyone!

May 3rd, Dave at Aunt Kate's - Still nasty out so I set up inside. Ron Norris stopped by and played a few songs. Two of them were his own. Sounded great Ron, it's always good to see and hear you!

May 4th, Dave at Creekside - Still nasty weather. I was cancelled at Zaharias. The 3 Peace Band was cancelled at Creekside. Shelley called and said they needed a single for the night and thats the whole of the story!

May 5th, Dave at Creekside - What a difference a day makes! It was beautiful outside, the sun was shinnin'. Gove Scrivinor stopped by did a couple of songs and hung out for awhile. It is always a pleasure hanging out with this great player!

I was so sad to hear about George from Oasis passing away! He was a nice guy always brightened the room up! R.I.P. my friend, you will be missed! -David
