January 23rd, Dave at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was the first Wednesday night of many, I hope. It was a little cold but had a few people show up. They have beer specials on Wednesday. Check the place out!

January 24th, Dave at Eclipse Recording Company - Added another track to my new solo CD (#3) "Mr. Song to Evil People".  Both are songs that I will record for this new project.

January 24th, Dave at The Corner Bar - Had a great night! Kruz did a good job!

January 25th & 26th, Dave at Sea Jay's - It's my first weekend of two I booked in a row. Eddie is in Virginia so I am covering him.  It's nice to be on the Jekyll Island.

January 27th, Dave at Creekside - Another cold and rainy night but that did not stop my friends from coming down. I enjoy playing this venue.

January 16th, Dave at Chili's - This was my last scheduled gig at Chili's. I would like to thank Ray, Chuck and staff. I think they have a good idea, just needs to be thought out a little more. Good luck guys!

January 9th, Dave at Hurricane Grill and Wings - A beautiful night! This is the first of many gigs here on Wednesday nights I hope to play. I will miss this coming Wednesday I have a previous booking at Chili's.

January 10th, Dave at The Corner Bar - Small but mighty crowd. Kruz did a good job!

January 11th, Dave at Sea Jay's - Always enjoy playing this gig. Got a chance to hang out with Ed a little.

January 12th, Dave at Windrose Cafe - It's great to be on Tybee again. Great to see and play for my friends Mark and Nell.

January 13th, Savannah Song Writer Series, Tybee Edition at Doc's - Met some new guys this time and heard some good music. Thanks, Roy for letting me be a part of your night. As always, I had a good time!

January 5th, Dave at Zaharia's - It was a nasty cold night and if not for Angelica I would have probably gone home. Turned out to be a great night! Had a blast. Thanks for hanging out everyone!

January 6th, Dave at Harry's - Canceled because of bad weather. I wanted to watch the Redskins anyway.

January 7th, NorthStar with Brady Green at Zaharias - Another nasty cold night and another nice crowd! Thanks for sitting in Pete Frizzell! Thanks for hanging out with us everybody! Thanks to Angelica and staff for having us! And most of all thanks to my two friends Ed and Brady for playing with me!

December 27th, Dave at The Corner Bar - What a great night! My Dad and Margie were in town. Played a few tunes I hadn't played in awhile. We missed Kruz!

December 28th, Dave with Gary Carroll at Aunt Kates - Aaron the bartender said they had not had a night like that before at the bar. It was good to play with my old band mate Gary. It was also great to see Debbie and her wonderful family. We didn't get a chance to talk much. We played the whole time. Gary is a talented guy and is welcome on my stage anytime! I would also like to thank my friend Jim (3 Fingers) Stafford for sitting in on Ripple!

This was a short but exciting week. I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve! I sure did! Because of your support I have had one of the best years in my long career! I am looking forward to working on my 3rd solo CD "Mr. Song to Evil People", and to the completion of The Big Lonesome CD. I hope I can make my music for everyone for years to come! December 19th, Dave at Creekside - Had a good time. Played some old tunes for some folks. It was a cold night but was packed in the bar. That was the last Wednesday for awhile. I will be moving my Wednesdays to Hurricane Grill and Wings in January. I will be back at Creekside Sunday January 30th.

December 20th,, Dave at The Corner Bar - Had a blast! Kruz did a good set. Great to see everybody!

December 21st, Dave at Aunt Kates - Had a nice crowd. I can't wait until the weather warms up to play this venue! I will be at Aunt Kate's next Friday with my old band mate Gary Carroll!

December 22nd, South Carolina - Dave, Theresa and Penny Lane - Had a nice dinner and visit with my Dad and Margie.

December 23rd, NorthStar at Coles Point Tavern - It was great to hang out with my Virginia friends. Thanks Randy! And thanks Scott and Rick (Yoko Says No), you guys did a great job on our music.

December 10th, The Big Lonesome at Arnold's - Shot a video in the afternoon (Juke Joint Down By The River). Thanks Dan Bagan. Later we played our gig. It was awful weather but had a nice crowd! Andy Murray got up and sang a song with us!

December 11th, The Big Lonesome at Eclipse - Kurt and Ed were in the studio today putting some tracks down.

December 12th, Dave at Chili's - This is a different gig. You never know until you try. I have one more booked January 16th. Check it out.

December 13th, Dave at The Corner Bar - This was a fun night! Sam called Jim Carrick. Jim got up and did a few songs. It's always a pleasure to hear him play! Kruz did his set and did good.

December 14th, Dave at Aunt Kate's - Nice crowd. Kurt stopped by and left me a CD of some of our new songs (The Big Lonesome). We are closing in on this CD.

December 15th, Christmas Party - It keeps getting better and better! Thanks!

December 16th, Dave at Hurricane Grill and Wings - This is a fun place to play. It seems like everyone likes it so I booked most Wednesday's in January. I hope the weather stays nice!

I am so sad about the recent shootings. This world seems so crazy at times. I pray we can find a solution for these terrible things people are doing! I long for the way things used to be.
