February 20th, Songwriters Night at Corner Bar - What an evening! Bob and I had Chuck Nash and Michael Jordan with us and those guys were on fire! I am a big fans of both of these players and was proud to share the stage with them. Bob was at his best also. In the audience we had Brady Green and Laurence Stevenson. February 22nd, DAVE at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was "Laurence Stevenson" with me tonight. The weather was bad. It was raining hard so we set up in the covered area outside. February 23rd, DAVE at Corner Bar - The whole gang was here George, Brady, Laurence and I played to a packed house. Everyone played great. The audience was great as well. February 13th, Cave Canem Studios - Barry and I worked mixing "Poor-Dum". We tossed around some ideas on "A Better Place" and "Ain't Life Grand". I've had a lot of fun recording my music with Barry. It's also great to just shoot the shit!
February 13th, NORTHSTAR at Creekside - The hole gang was out tonight, Brady, Eddie, George, Frankie, Laurence and I had a chance to play some music together. It's a blast to get together with these guys once a month. Thanks Creekside! I would also like to recognize some other folks that braved the weather. It was cold! Dan Bagan from IAUGI Studios and Sidney and Hunter, they are in the music biz.
February 14th, George's House - George and I hung out and talked through some lyric ideas for our new song, as yet, untitled. We also had a chance to talk through some current events.
February 14th, DAVE at Oasis - It was packed in the land of the 44 TVs. It made me miss Greg and Splash!
February 15th, DAVE at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Laurence Stevenson was out on the sidewalk with me tonight. It was windy and chilly but we had a nice crowd that hung in there. John Winters and George Reeves stopped by. Thanks Abe, JJ and staff!
February 16th, DAVE at Corner Bar - It was the trio of George Reeves, Brady Green and I. Laurence went to Richard Thompson's show. It was a great night, the place was packed! Dan Bagan was in the house (IAUGI Studios).
February 17th, DAVE at Conch House - It was to cold to play outside. Inside was a little slow but I was right next to the bar (that was good thing). I stopped by and talked with brother Ed for a bit at the Mellow Mushroom.
February 18th, DAVE at Zaharias - We worried about rain but it never came. George and I played to a full house. This is a great place to play and I'm always sad if weather doesn't permit me to play. It was good to see our friend Rick Levy from the Boxtops and also Falling Bones. He played a couple with George and sounded great! Thanks Angelika and staff. You guys are the best!

The place was packed we had Scott Walker and his daughter Jennie get up with Laurence and play "The Road To Lisdoonvarna","The Silver Spear" and finished with "Ashokan Farewell" on their violins. What a treat! Thank you Creekside for a wonderful evening.

February 7th, DAVE at the Chianti Room - It was a great day in St. Augustine today. It was 80 degrees. We had a tiny bit of rain, but we need more. Things are dry here. I had a great crowd of whom most were from Canada. Some of them said that they hoped to see me when I play this coming July in Canada. My friend Train Wreck stopped by. He'll be coming over to Cedar Key next month to hang out with the Cedar Key gang when I'm there. It was a great day over all. You should come check out the best happy hour in town. I will return to the Chianti Room on February 21st.

It's always great to see my friends Pat, Pete and Raven. I'll see you guys next month. I'm looking forward to it and hopefully Train Wreck will be in town too!

January 31st, at George's House - It was another fun filled morning writing songs and shooting the shit. I look forward to this every week. Brady, George, Laurence and I are working on a Civil War tune right now. It's getting closer to completion. We worked out a great intro today.
January 31st, DAVE at the Chianti Room - It never fails, nice afternoon again, a nice crowd plus the best happy hour in town. Brady Green and Doug Hyde stopped int to give me a listen. It doesn't get much better than this.
February 1st, DAVE at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was a crowded night at the restaurant. Laurence Stevenson and his fiddle were with me too. I had a great time playing with the Fiddler. Thanks Abe, JJ and staff, you're the best!
February 2nd, DAVE at the Corner Bar - By the time I finished setting up the place was packed. Laurence was sick so he stayed home. Brady was helping out a friend and was on call if more assistance was needed, so he was out for the evening also. George and I went at it as half the band we used to be. It was a blast! It was good to get a visit from Dan Bagan from IAUGI Studios and John Winters. John and I had a chance to talk a bit as I was loading out. John even helped. Thanks man!

February 3rd, DAVE at Cave Canem Studios - Barry and I spent a few hours working on the new CD "Don't Stare At The Sun". We did a vocal track on "Better Place" and fixed a couple parts on "Poor-Dum". It was good to get together to work and to catch up on lives crazy journey.
February 3rd, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - When I left Barry's, I headed straight to my gig. The weather held and it turned out to be a nice night. Barry and Lydia showed up it. It was nice to hang out and play for my friends. Rusty Menshouse also showed up with Faith. It's great to share some time and music with these two also.
February 4th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - I set up inside because it was cold and windy. There were few people who stopped in. It was a quiet afternoon on the inside. Thanks Brian, Candy, Dave and staff, you guys are the best! I'll see you February 24th and 25th. Theresa and I stopped by Dan and Susie Bagans for dinner later that evening. The evening was just what we needed. We sat around and watched our new streaming toy that didn't work except for the 1st episode of "Man from Uncle". I was hoping for a better showing. Dan had better luck with his interesting and funny video's. Thanks for having us over. Next time it's pizza night on us.
