October 28th, Retrophonics Studios - Jim and I were in the control room while Dewey Via put some guitar tracks down on "Front and Center" and "Cowboy Dream"

October 29th, Theresa and I went to the Bagan's to say goodbye to our friend Joe Lee.

October 30th, Carpetbaggers at Hurricane Grill and Wings - We had a great night! The place was packed! See you next Wednesday!

October 31st, I didn't have a gig today but did my usual Thursday walk with Dan Bagan.  I'm pretty close to finishing "Circles". I hope to lay it down on Monday.

November 1st, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was a nice evening out on the porch by the water. I tried my new song "Circles" went pretty good, I think.

November 3rd, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was a nice afternoon playing until the rain came. Then I called it a day around 2pm out on the porch by the water.

There is no studio this week, but next week I hope to lay down basic tracks for my new song "Circles" and add a guitar part onto "The Way It Is". Sue will be adding violin tracks to a few songs too. I'm getting close to posting some songs from Project #6. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!!  Keepin' It Real! - David

October 21st, Retrophonics Studios - It was good to get back to work with Jim and Johnny, it's been a couple weeks. Johnny added tambourine on "The Way It Is" and I added a guitar part for us to use as a reference. I also started tracks for a new tune "I Remember".

October 23rd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - The gang was all there, we had a nice evening! That was the only band show this week. It was good to see Jim and Nancy DeVito on their drive by and Johnny Medico, my co-producer and he plays with One Good Ring.

October 24th, No work today but I had my regular Thursday meeting with Dan Bagan for the  walk. I started another tune called "Circle".

October 25th - Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue with  Ed Pickett at The Jekyll Island Shrimp and Grits Festival -  We had a great time again this year at the festival. So nice to see some old friends and hopefully made some new ones. Thanks Jekyll Island, Kristen, Dan, all my Virginia friends that showed up and most of all Sue and Ed. Thank you!

October 27th,  Still working on my new tune "Circles".

September 30th, Retrophonics Studios - I added bass and guitar tracks to " I Wish" and "Making Rainbows".  We are getting closer to finishing Project #6, I'm excited!

October 2nd, Carpetbaggers (DAVE, Sue and Tony) at Hurricane Grill and Wings - We had a nice evening without rain. We'll miss next week, first time in a long time. Thanks Albert for helping us out of our screw up. See you in two weeks!

October 3rd, DAVE & Sue at Oasis Tiki Bar - We had a great crowd and made some new friends. See you next at the Songwriter's Night same place 6pm to 9pm October 15th.

October 4th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was a nice evening on the porch by the water! California here we come!

October 5th thru 12th, Orange, California - Theresa and I  went to hang out with my band mate Lou (North Star Band) and his wife Diane. We had a wonderful time at Yosemite National Park and Catalina Island. Because of Hurricane Milton we couldn't get home as planned so we stayed an extra couple of days. Lou and Diane were great hosts and we are already planning another trip after the holidays. I'm sure Theresa will have some pictures to add.

October 13th, No studio today, it wasn't fully back together since the hurricane.

October 14th, DAVE at Pizzalley's Chianti Room - It's been awhile since I've played this venue. I brought back some great pizza for the family.

October 15th, Songwriter's Night at the Oasis Tiki Bar - It was a nice evening for a songwriter's event. Bert and Chuck did a great job, adding Bob to this crew you had years of songwriting. I was blown away to share the stage with these three writers! Thanks for supporting "LIVE" original music in St. Augustine.

October 16th, Carpetbaggers (DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie) Hurricane Grill and Wings - Frankie was a little late but he did make it. It was a chilly night but it was a good time getting back together with the band. Thanks Abe, Albert and staff you guys are the best!

October 18th, Sue and DAVE at Tides - We had a great night! We saw some new faces to this venue I think they will be back! Thanks Felicia, Mandy and staff! See you back here November 15th!

October 19th, Sue and DAVE at St Augustine Fish House and Oyster Co - Rain and Wind blew us out! No Show tonight!

October 20th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - Rain and Wind blew me away from today's show.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Marcia Pietrzak and also Joe Lee, two great people. I will miss them both. Looking forward to the studio today at Retrophonics. I have an idea that might complete "The Way It Is", the first cut on my new CD. I also have a new tune I want to lay down " I Remember". Thanks for letting me live my dream!!!
