July 5th, Retrophonics Studios - Jim and I had Sue in to play on 3 tracks "Life Goes On", "Get Along Little Pony" and "The Hunter". She kicked butt! 

July 5th, Bagan and Company "LIVE" - We had a great show. There were a few mishaps at the last minute that created some problems but Clay, Amanda and Dan resolved them. Thanks Michael Jordon for sharing your music with us!

July 6th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony at Hurricane Grill and Wings - We had a great evening show but it was hot! See you guys next week! Thanks Abe, Albert and staff!

July 7th, Bagan and Company  - Dan and I worked on some ideas for our first Best of "LIVE" shows. I am excited about this project, we have hours of videos to go through but this will be something special.

June 7th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie Pelican Landing - We ad a great night! The last gig of the week with the band and it was a good one. Thanks Jeff, Jennifer and staff you guys are the best!

June 8th, 9th and 10th, DAVE at The Big Deck - I had a great Friday but started feeling a little off. By the time I packed up I was feeling worse. Somehow I made it through Saturday night's gig. Sunday morning, when I saw Brian having coffee, I asked if he would cut me loose so I could get home to my bed. I made it home around noon and started my recovery. Thanks Big Deck it was fun while it lasted, see you August 12th, 13th and 14th.

I'm getting some rest, feeling better, to get back out there this week. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real!!! -David

June 20th, Retrophonics Studios. - Jim and I worked through a bass track on "The Moment 24".  Just one more bass track to complete Poor-Dum it's a song called "The Last Rhyme" and I hope to get Rusty Springfield to play on it. Also I am excited to hear what Jim DeVito is going to do on The Big Lonesome's "My Chevrolet".

June 20th, Songwriter's Night at Pelican Landing - We had a great time as always. Lee Hunter and Gail Carson were a real treat. Bob Paterson is more than special. Looking forward to next month!

June 22nd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony at Hurricane Grill and Wings - No Frankie but had a great show anyway. We are in the throws of summer now, it's hot! See you next week!

June 23rd, Bagan and Company - Dan and I did some more work on "Too Tore Up" a new song from The Big Lonesome Rides Again project. 

June 23rd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie Pelican Landing - We had a great night! What great owners, place, staff and crowd!

June 24th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It turned out to be a great evening out on the porch by the water!

June 25th, Carpetbaggers PRIVATE PARTY The Front Porch - We did a show on The Front Porch at the Amphitheatre for The Rotary end of the year party. It was hot but a lot of fun. Thanks everyone.

June 26th, 27th and 28th, Camping Jekyll Island - Theresa and I had a good time on the island. It was a little crazy getting there, we had a flat tire on the camper. It was the same exact exit that we blew a head gasket going to see Barry and Lydia a few months ago. We saw Josh Kirkland at Tortuga Jacks, he was good, wanted to say hey but he took a break and was gone. Looking forward to getting back to work but it was a great way to spend a few days for my birthday. 

June 28th, Corner Sushi - Theresa took me, Brianna and Braylen for birthday sushi is was good.

June 29th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony Hurricane Grill and Wings - Not quite as hot, the 3 umbrella configuration makes a big difference.

June 30th, Bagan and Company - We got "Too Tore Up" posted. A Gregg Chirico original song performed by The Big Lonesome. We are getting closer and closer to the finish line. 

June 30th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony Pelican Landing - We had a great night! It was a little slow but a great crowd. Tony's friend Mir Ali got up and played a couple tunes with Sue at the end of the evening.

July 1st, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - Cancelled due to weather!

July 2nd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at San Sebastian Winery - The weather kept us inside. Everyone pulled together to get through the night. Thanks Kyle and staff you guys are the best! See you next month!

July 3rd, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - The rain came about half way through.

July 4th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It didn't rain on my Independence Day gig on the porch by the water! Happy 4th everyone and God Bless the USA!

Looking forward to the studio (Retrophonics) with Jim DeVito and Sue Westcott. Continuing to work on my new solo cd Poor-Dum. I can't wait to hear what Sue comes up with. I have a new song "My Story". I might try to cut if Sue gets done early. Thanks for letting me live my dream! Keepin' It Real!! -David

June 13th, Retrophonics Studios - Jim and I worked out a bass part for "Shines A Light" that will appear on my 5th solo CD called Poor-Dum. We also worked on a mix "Too Tore Up" a Gregg Chirico song that will appear on The Big Lonesome Rides Again CD.

June 13th, JT's Seadfood Shack - It was a nice hot gig, at least the rain held off. See you the second Monday in July and with the Carpetbaggers on July 30th.

June 15th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was HOT!!! Besides the heat it was a blast! We missed you Sue.

June 16th, Bagan and Company - I ordered more "LIVE And A Little Touched" thumb drives. Worked on some ideas for the Big Lonesome's new release "Too Tore Up".


June 16th, Carpetbaggers at Pelican Landing - We had a great night! Rusty Springfield did a great job on bass. Sue will be back next week!

June 17th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Tony at Tides Oyster Co and Grill - We had a nice night! Tony did a great job!

June 18th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Tony, Frankie and Rusty at Borrillo's  - The rain forecast went away and we had a great show. It was hot as hell but the show must go on and it did. Thanks Gerry and Delia and staff you guys are the best! See you next month.

June 19, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - I had a wonderful HOT afternoon out on the porch by the water.

Really enjoyed playing with Rust Springfield the last couple days. We missed the Queen bee though. The Songwriter's Night was special. Gail and Lee were great! Looking forward to working with Jim DeVito on my new project "Poor-Dum" and getting together with Dan Bagan and working on "Too Tore Up" a Big Lonesome tune. Thanks for letting me live my dream! June 6th, I was off today, no gig.  I had work to do around the yard. 

June 7th, Bagan and Company "LIVE" -  We had a great show! We missed Amy Hendrickson but she said she will join our September "LIVE" Show. Great job Dan, Clay, Amanda, Theresa and Wayne. We couldn't do it without you guys!

June 8th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was threatening rain for most of the evening but held off. We missed Frankie!  The crowd was great, Tony, Sue and I had a blast!

June 9th, Bagan and Company - We finished "40 Years" a Chris Berardo song I found an old track of. Dan did a wonderful job putting together the ideas he and I had. This video makes me happy and sad at the same time. Thanks to Jim DeVito for mastering the track.

June 9th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Pelican Landing - This was the last gig for the week for us as a band.  We had a great time! I'm heading to the gulf coast for a few days playing my solo gig at the Big Deck over in Cedar Key, FL.

June 10th, 11th and 12th, DAVE at The Big Deck - We miss Darlene but still had a great time at The Big Deck. Bryan made his wonderful clam chowder. I saw both Pat and Pete and some tennis friends from Flager College, Powell, Wayne , Leo and wives.

I hope to put in some more work on "Too Tore Up" from The Big Lonesome Rides Again and "Shines A Light" for Poor-Dum my next solo project. Dan did a wonderful job on "40 Years" a Chris Berardo song. Check it out on Facebook or YouTube. Thanks for letting me live my dream! Keepin' It Real!! -David

June 1st, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was great to get back with the band. We missed Frankie but we'll see him tomorrow.

June 2nd, Bagan and Company - Dan and I worked on "40 Years" a Chris Berardo song I recorded many years ago. We should be able to release it next week. I hope you enjoy it. 

June 2nd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and Tony Pelican Landing - It's always fun to play with these talents. I am proud to be a Carpetbagger! Craig Hand stopped by.

June 3rd, DAVE Aunt Kate's - A hot but fun show on the porch by the water!

June 4th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at San Sebastian Winery - We were rained on right at the start but it was short and sweet we were able to start pretty much on time. Had a blast!

May 24th, Retrophonics Studios - I put bass tracks on "The Hunter" and "Get Along Little Pony", also worked on a mix of "Too Tore Up" a Gregg Chirico song performed by The Big Lonesome.

May 25th, Travel Day - Theresa and I made it through to Wilson, NC  where we decided to stop for the evening to get a room. We had dinner across the street at Cracker Barrel, so far so good.

May 26th thru the 30th, DAVE at Coles Point Tavern for the Memorial Day Weekend - We arrived at Acie's and unloaded our bags and then headed to The Tavern to meet Randy to load in and set up. I had 5 great days of playing music for my friends. I would like to thank Ann and Chris and the wonderful staff at The Tavern for taking such good care of me. I would like to thank Randy for providing the sound and giving me sound advice. I would like to thank Acie for putting  us up and putting up with us at his place. I would like to thank Mike and Sandy for the great cookout. And last but not least, I would like to thank the great folks that came out to hear my music.

May 31st, Travel Day - We made it to exit 193 in SC. It was a long drive after an afternoon of playing but mades it a shorter trip to home in the morning. We made it by noon, there's no place like home, glad to be back and looking forward to the rest of the week ahead.

It was a wonderful weekend, played a lot of music at Tavern Nation. I saw a lot of friends, read a couple books, ate a lot of great food,  hung out with TT when she came back from NoVa visiting her family.  It doesn't get any better than this. I'm looking forward to getting together with Dan at Bagan and Company to work on my next release "40 Years", a Chris Berardo song I recorded many years ago. Thanks for letting me live my dream! Keepin' It Real! -David

May 16th, Retrophonics Studios - We had a good session, Jim and I. I put a nice bass track on "Train", Jim did some EQ on "40 Years", a Chris Berardo song I found that I had recorded years ago. We also did a little more work on "Too Tore Up" a Gregg Chirico song that we recorded with The Big Lonesome. 

May 16th, Songwriter's Night at Pelican Landing - We had a nice songwriters night. Sam and Michael are some real talented writers and players. It's always a pleasure to share the evening with my friend Bob. Looking forward to next month.

May 17th, Private Party - Our friend Jane was retiring and her boss took a few folks out on the Sabrage  with Captain Glenn and Doyle. It was a nice boat ride, I played a little music especially "My Bird" and "Southern Sky". Thanks for letting Theresa and I share your special evening Jane.

May 18th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - What a great evening especially after the sun went down. 

May 19th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Pelican Landing - What a night! Doesn't get any better than this!

May 20th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at Tides and Oyster Bar - A hell of a rain storm came through! Buckets catching water everywhere! I always enjoy this night, the 3rd Friday of every month!

May 21st, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Borrillo's - The rain stopped us! See you back here June 18th!

May 22nd, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It wasa nice Sunday on the porch by the water!

Looking forward to my trip to Virginia, can't wait to see all my Rivah friends. I won't get a chance to get with Dan at Bagan and Company this week but will be in the studio with Jim DeVito. We are working on 2 songs from my new solo CD "Poor-Dum".
