Had a great weekend on Jekyll Island! First of all I would like to thanks Ed and Kristen for putting us up. It was great seeing Matt and Lickity Splitz our friends from Virginia who played at the Rah Bar. You guys did a great job! We missed Randy though! It was also good to see the WarfRatz play at the Shrimp and Grits Festival. Eric you sounded great on those keys! The real highlight of the trip was watching the sea turtles released on the beach. From here out in my news letter we will follow Pri's travels after being released. A very unique experience!

September 22nd, DAVE at Creekside - It was nasty out so I set up inside. Had a great evening!

September 9th, NORTHSTAR at Zaharias - A great night! What a pleasure it is playing with Brady Green, George Reeves and, of coarse, brother Ed. Dan Bagan shot some pictures.  Can't wait to see them.

September 19th, NORTHSTAR at The World Famous Oasis - We had a nice gig in the land of the 44 TVs!

September 11th, DAVE at Eclipse - Had Brady and George in the studio to cut "It's Christmas Morning", a song I wrote a few days ago. This might be the fastest I've ever tracked a song I wrote. Had a blast!

September 11th, DAVE at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was hot as hell and a little slow. Sometimes those two go good together. Still had fun!

September 12th, DAVE at The Corner Bar - It was good to have Abby back! Kruz did a good job! A nice night overall!

September 13th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - Friday the 13th was a good day for me! Had just as many people at the bait shop behind me as I did in front of me in the restaurant. A little different but turned out good!

September 14th,Greg and Lisa's - Had a few beers and Lisa's great meatballs. It was good to hang with our old friends.

September 15th, DAVE at Creekside - Great night! The weather was perfect! Doesn't get any better than this!

August 31st - Had a great 4 days off! I got some things done around the house. we had a nice cook-out at Dan and Susie's. Hung out at the pool at Bob and Julie's (yes, we were there Julie). I also got my new Roc-Soc stool (thanks for the tip Frankie). Time to go back to work!

September 3rd, DAVE and The Big Lonesome at Eclipse - I met Rob Peck at 11am at the studio. He put harp tracks on "There's No I In Team" and a new song "What Dreams Are Made Of", I just wrote with my Nashville friends, Donna and Kat . As usual Rob did a great job.  I am proud to have him on my upcoming CD "Mr. Song To Evil People". At 12pm got together with Gregg and Frankie (The Big Lonesome).  We replaced vocal tracks on a song Wayne Johnston wrote for the band "Sweet River Girl".  This song will appear on our new release and was recorded live at the St. Augustine Amphitheater.

September 4th, DAVE at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Had a nice crowd! It looked like rain but held off.  Good call Abe.

September 5th, DAVE at The Corner Bar - Another good night, I'm on a roll! Kruz did a good job! Met Jim McClure and his wife (drummer Mid-life Crisis). They will be at the Winery on October 11th.  I hope to get by and see them!

September 6th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - I was sure it was going to rain, but it didn't. It was a slow night but still had fun and had a chance to try some new songs!

September 7th, Night Out, Dave and Theresa - We stopped by Hang 10 to see what was happening (nothing****). Got introduced to the manager, who was fairly rude and to busy to talk on this empty Saturday night! Not really our type of place right now! Then we stopped at a great place Zaharias! Salt Run Drive was playing, sounded good! Always great seeing Angelica and crew! Next it was off to see Mr. Natural at Hurricane Patty's. The band sounded good. I really like this line up ( Gregg, Wes and Mike).

September 8th, DAVE at Harry's - What a great night! I am really starting to enjoy this place you really get a chance to play for a diverse crowd. Thanks Rob Peck for booking me!

It was a great week of music! I'm looking forward to Eclipse on Wednesday with Brady Green and George Reeves. We will be cutting a new song I just wrote "It's Christmas Morning". Thanks for letting me live my dream! Stop texting, start talking. Keepin' It Real!!!!!!!!   -David

August 26th, The Super Hackers at Hurricane Patty's - Always fun to get together with these guys the last monday of every month!

August 27th, DAVE at Eclipse - Rob was under the weather but showed up anyway (what a trooper). We talked for a bit and then sent him home to rest. Did a little re-mixing on "That's What Dreams Are Made Of" and "There's No I In Team" with Jim Stafford.

August 29th, DAVE at The Corner Bar - It was Billy Anin's birthday! Hunter got up and sang a song she had just made up, a cappella! It was great! Kruz did a good job! Had fun!

August 30th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was hot as hell! Somehow made it through! A pretty big crowd braved the heat for some music, food and view. Not necessarily  in that order!

Will be in the studio this week working on "What Dreams Are Made Of" and "There's No I In Team" and also The Big Lonesome will be in the studio re-cutting the vocals on a live cut "Sweet River Girl" written by Wayne Johnston for the band and recorded live at the St. Augustine Amphitheater.
