August 27th, The Big Lonesome - Had a rehearsal, what a great time!

August 27th, The Super Hacker's at Hurricane Patties - It was a rainy nasty night but the place was packed! Everyone played their hearts out!

August 28th, The Big Lonesome - Another great rehearsal! This is one group of guys that is lot of fun to be around, even if we aren't playing music!

August 28th. Dave at The World Famous Oasis - A small but mighty crowd in the land of the 44 TVs.

August 29th, A night out - Stopped by Arnold's and joined SASA, (Saint Augustine Songwriters Association). Then stopped by and saw Gregg doing his karioke thing. Then stopped by Applebee's and saw Chris C4Man. Sat in and did "Think Free" from my last CD "Hopeless Romantic".

August 30th, NorthStar at Eclipse - Jim, Brady and I worked on mixing "With You/Without You" and "Fast As The Wind".

August 30th, Dave at The Corner Bar - Another small but mighty crowd. Kruz did a good job!

August 31st, Dave at Zaharias - What a great crowd! Had a blast!

September 1st, Afternoon out - Stopped in Mi Casa to hear John Winters play and ended up sitting in with Brady Green doing "My Bird" and "Love". Also met Brady's friend Harry Heisler (The Four Aces). You might remember some of their songs "Three Coins In a Fountain" and "Love is a Many Splendered Thing". Harry and his lovely wife Monica invited us down for a show in the fall. I can't wait!

September 2nd, Dave at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Had a nice afternoon. This will be my last Sunday at this great place until probably after football season, but check the calendar because things are always changing! Brady showed up with a group including Harry and Monica.

This should be a busy week. I plan to do more work on NorthStar's CD. I'm excited about The Big Lonesome gig tonight! I also plan on putting together the songs for my next solo CD "Evil People". Thanks for letting me live my dream! Also quit texting and start talking!

On a sad note, we lost two friends this week Vance Bockis and Pamela Norene Hastings, RIP. Our thoughts and prayers are with their family and friends. "Keepin' It Real!". - David

see you down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
