May 19, 2025 Retrophonics Studios - It was a nice session. Frankie and Sue were in to sing background vocals on "I Got Lucky", "In-Between", "Cowboy Dream", "Making Rainbows"and "Front and Center". Sue added a violin part to "Remember Me". We should be getting some final mixes done for Project #6 when I get back in a couple of weeks. Then I start on my next effort Shines A Light.  I can't wait!!!  

May 20, 2025 Songwriter's Night at Oasis Tiki Bar -  Amy and Michael were a real treat. Bob as always kicked butt. Thanks for supporting "LIVE" original music in St. Augustine. Thanks to Jen and staff making it possible.

May 21, 2025 Carpetbagger's DAVE, Sue and Tony at Hurricane Grill - We were without Frankie, he had a previous engagement. Tony and Sue kicked butt tonight. It was fun. 

May 22 -June 1, 2025 GONE - Theresa and I had a nice vacation. We visited family and friends that are here and some who have gone. I played a show with brother Ed, Bear and friends for Big Ed's 90th.

June 4, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill - It was rainy but still had a nice crowd!

June 5, 2025 DAVE and Sue at Oasis Tiki Bar - The weather would not cooperate we had to cancel. We were offered the land of the 44 tv's but decided to just call it. 

June 6, 2025 DAVE at Aunt Kate's - A couple hours in and then came the rain. This is still a beautiful sight out on the porch by the water. I can take a little rain every now and then for the chance to play in such a great setting. See you here in a couple days.

June 9, 2025 DAVE at  The Hamock Grill (JT's) - I'm glad Johnny and Brandy have taken back JT's Seafood with a different brand. It's now The Hammock Grill by JT's. June 12, 2025 Bagan and Company - Dan and I got the release of "I Got Lucky" together. Also came up with an idea for "Burn Our Bridges" for the new North Star Band release.

June 13, 2025 I was off . We all went to NAS Jax for the first round of Braylen's All-Star game. They played a team from Yulee and pulled out a victory. Yay.

June 14, 2025 I'm getting close to another tune "Calculated Risk", I might run it by Johnny this week at the studio.

June 15, 2025 DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was a nice Father's Day playing on the porch by the water. The rain arrived about 3pm packed up and headed home for a nice dinner. See you back here June 22nd.

May 14, 2024 Bagan and Company - Dan and I put together a Facebook release from Project #6 the song is "Another Day". We also worked on the North Star Band soon to be released "She's An Angel" a song I wrote with Chris McVey.

May 8, 2025 I had the night off. I've been working on a new tune "The Clearing" and trying to bring back one I didn't record from a while ago "You Blew It".

May 11th 2025 DAVE at Aunt Kate's - I was a little worried about the weather but everything turned out okay. It was a nice Mother's Day out on the porch by the water. Thanks Brian, Dave, Dave B and staff you guys are the best!

April 24, 2025 Bagan and Company - Dan and I finished the release of "In-Between". This is another tune from Project #6. We also came up with a couple ideas for "Bushwacked", a new tune from the new North Star Band.

April 17, 2025 Bagan and Company - Dan and I worked on a design for the release of The North Star Band Kick Ass Country "On My Way" by Jim Robeson. I was excited to get in the studio with my old band mates and make this music. We also designed and released a mix of one of mine "Making Rainbows" from my soon to be released Project #6.

April 18, 2025 DAVE and Sue at Tides - It was nice to sit down and play with Sue. It was also a treat to see my old Tybee Island friends Nell and Howard. I worked for them for many years at the Windrose Cafe. Sue and I will see you next month May 16th!

April 7, 2025 Retrophonics Studios - Jim, Johnny and I worked on mixes for "In-Between".  Next week adding saxophone on "Another Day" and maybe "I Got Lucky". Hopefully I can get Frankie and Sue to come in 2 weeks and do background vocals. Also I want Sue to play a another part on "Remember Me". We're getting real close to finishing Project #6. I am starting to put together tunes for my next effort.

April 8, 2025 OFF - I started picking the songs for the new Carpetbaggers CD "Say Grace" and my next effort "Shines A Light".

April 9, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill -It was another great night out on the patio on A1A! Mike from Short Change band stop by. Laurence and Barbara Stevenson also were in attendance.

March 4, 2025 The Seiners DAVE, Ed and Sue at Captain Stan's - It was a great time behind the magic fence. It was good to see my friend and the owner Captain Stan. American Restaurants were doing some filming. It was a pleasure to play some music with brother Ed and Sue.

March 5, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was a bit windy but the show went according to plan. Dale Hicks sat in, he kicked butt. Thanks for supporting Carpetbagger's music!

March 6, 2025 DAVE and Sue at Oasis Tiki Bar - Again, it was a little chilly by the end of the show but we made it through. We had a great time thanks to all who braved the wind to hear our music. The storm ripped through the porch by the water about 11:30 am it was going to be awhile before they could get ready for outside. I just had some lunch and went on home. I will be back at this great place next weekend Friday and Saturday.

February 24, 2025  Retrophonics Studios - Sue was in today playing a string arrangement that Johnny Medico wrote out for "Making Rainbows". It was beautiful.  Johnny also added a tambourine and rain stick (belonging to Jesse Cruce) . It was a good day!

February 25, 2025 DAVE and Sue with Dewey Via's (Musical Chairs) at Dog Rose We had a great time with our Virginia friend and talented musician. Thanks to all our people for supporting this event. Maybe we'll do another one down the road! Thanks to all the great folks at Dog Rose.

February 11 -15, 2025 We had a great time! We visited my folks, Theresa's sister and family, visited both our family's grave sites, also Ron and Hillary at the office (Northern VA). Then visited Theresa's Aunt and Uncle and stopped to see Jay Jessup (Charlottesville). We covered a lot of ground in a few days and made it home safe and sound.

February 17, 2025 Retrophonics Studios - I had Sue in the studio today. She put tracks on "I Wish " and "In-Between". Johnny is going to write out strings parts for "Making Rainbows" and look forward to having Sue back in to play them.

The show went good, I was so happy for the festival's success for my good friend Bob Patterson. After the festival TT, Brianna, Braylen, Sue, Wayne and I went out to Corner Sushi for TT birthday. A great day overall!

January 13, 2025 Retrophonics Studios, Jim, Johnny and I worked on a mix for "Ride Like The Wind". Jim and I added guitar parts. Johnny added some percussion.

January 14, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Fuzion 904 - We had a great night! It was good to have Sue back. Thanks to all the great folks at Fuzion 904.

January 17, 2025 DAVE & Sue at Tides Oyster Co - We had a nice night at Tides. Thanks Felicia, Mandy and staff. See you next month on February 21st!

January 18th 2025 DAVE at Caddyshack - I finished another tune called "It's Raining" this morning. Caddyshack went good. The folks there are great, Scott, Kim and the rest of the staff. You should check this place out if you're in the area. Great food and great service. I will be back there February 22nd 7 to 9pm.

January 19, 2025 DAVE at The Boathouse - Cancelled due to weather!

January 20, 2025 I didn't have a gig tonight. Theresa and I went to  JC and Noelle's for an Inauguration Party. It was a lot of fun hanging out with all the folks. Thank you both for inviting us to your gathering. The food was and company was great!

January 21, 2025 Songwriter's Night at the Oasis Tiki Bar -  The weather was brutal so we moved inside. Marc and Dave both were a pleasure to hear, along with Bob it made for a wonderful night. Thanks everyone for your support!

January 22, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie at Hurricane Grill - It was a nice chilly evening inside the canvas! Thanks for braving the weather to listen to our stories!

January 23, 2025 Dan Bagan's - No walk today it was too cold! We worked on the release of "Ride Like The Wind". Great job Dan. We also started to get something going on my new song "Bounce".

January 29, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Frankie was under the weather, we hope he gets better soon. Dale Hicks was in town from Detroit, he got up and sang a few with us, great job! I started on a new tune this morning, not named yet. 

February 1, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE & Sue at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Tony was under the weather and Frankie is still in the hospital. I had a nice night playing music with Sue. We missed Tony and Frankie.

February 2, 2025 DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was a nice afternoon out on the porch by the water. The weather was so crazy last month I didn't get to play this show much. It was good to be back. Thanks Brian, Dave, Dave2 and staff.

There was a scheduling issue at Retrophonics Studios so Sue and I will not be there working on "I Wish" and "Making Rainbows" but, hopefully we can get back in in a couple of weeks. We are praying for Frankie's quick recovery. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real!-Davd

January 6, 2025 - We moved the studio to Tuesday this week.

January 7, 2025 - Retrophonics Studios,  Jim was working on #2 mix for "Cowboy Dream" when I came in. We also woked on "Ride Like The Wind" Jim added an electric guitar part.

January 8th, 2025 - Carpetbaggers DAVE, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings, It was another chilly, but great night at Hurricane's. Thanks for braving the weather once again.

January 9, 2025, Thursday Morning at Dan Bagan's, That's going to be the name of my regular Thursday morning scheduled walk and studio with Dan. We worked on an idea for "Ride Like The Wind". I finished a new tune "Story Line". I have 5 new tunes to start tracks on.

January 10, 2025 DAVE at Aunt Kate's - After discussing with Brian we decided to go on and give it a try. I started at 2:30 and played until 5:30 it turned out to be a beautiful day out on the porch by the water. A little chilly from 4:50 to 5:30.

January12, 2025 - DAVE at Aunt Kate's - Definitely too cold to play outside on the porch by the water today, cancelled

Closing this week out and moving on, I'm looking forward to being in the studio at Retrophonics on Monday as always. I hope to get a first mix on "Ride Like The Wind". Johnny has some percussion parts to add to "I Wish" and "Making Rainbows". Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real! -David

December 30th, Retrophonics Studios - I sat with Johnny at the piano and moved the idea of "Accept Goodbye" along. We also made plans for the next few tunes. It was a good day.

January 1st - HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

January 2nd, DAVE at Oasis Tiki Bar - It was going to be cold but the manager Joan wanted to give it a try. I played for 2 hours for a small group of friends. Thanks for braving the cold and thanks Oasis for having me play.

January 3rd, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - I talked with Brian, he said he couldn't believe anyone was sitting outside but if I wanted to play at least for as long as I could stand it to go ahead. It turned out to be a great afternoon on the porch by the water. Started on a new tune "Story-line".

January 4th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Tony and Frankie Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was a cold evening at Hurricane's. A few folks braved the chill and made it a fun night. Thanks for supporting the Carpetbaggers. We missed Sue!

January 5th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It turned out to be a great day out on the porch by the water! Thanks Brian ans staff you guys are the best!

I hope to get into the studio this week, I have 4 new tunes to lay down. I gave Tony three to play some guitar on, can't wait to hear what he comes up with. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real! -David

December 16th, Retrophonics Studios - We have a mix on "Cowboy Dream".

December 17th, Songwriter's Night at Oasis Tiki Bar - It was  a great night! Al Johnson drove up from West Palm and kicked ass! I really enjoyed hearing him perform his music. He is the real deal and I could tell by the audience reaction they felt the same way. Doug, also one of my favorites, and even with a bad shoulder he never slowed down. Bob is one of the best! I always enjoy his stories in songs. Thank you for supporting original music in St. Augustine. Thanks Oasis for giving us a spot to put on our show.

December 18th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Another great evening, they were calling for rain but stayed nice. Merry Christmas everyone see you next year!

December 19th, Thursday Morning at Dan Bagan's studio - I joined Dan for his Thursday walk, then worked up a design for my next Project #6 release "Cowboy Dream". Later in the day Theresa and I went by Tides to say goodbye to our friend JJ.

December 20th, DAVE at The Tides Oyster Bar and Grill - Everyone missed Sue but it was a great evening on my own. I tried a few new original tunes and a couple of cover tunes I haven't done for awhile. See you January 17th hopefully Sue will be back!

December 22nd, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - Weather was to cold to be out on the porch by the water so no show today. See you back here December 29th!

December 24th - I started a new tune "Say Goodbye".

December 25th - Merry Christmas everyone!

December 26th - Theresa and I drove to SC to drop a car off to Theresa's sister and brother-in-law. The worst traffic on the way back I have ever been in. We finally did make it back home many hours later, thank the Lord.

December 29th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - About half way in the wind and rain came. It was a great afternoon on the porch by the water until then. See you next year!

I'm looking forward to 2025! I'm looking forward to being in the studio! And go Washington Redskins aka Commanders! Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real! -David

December 9th, Retrophonics Studios - We added Johnny Medico playing piano on "Front and Center". Jim Devito worked on Mix 1 which I hope to post on Facebook when I get with Dan Bagan on Thursday for our walk and work session. I still have two more new tunes to lay down "The Future" and "Come Home".

December 10th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Fuzion 904 - What a great night! Our great fans along with the great folks at Fuzion 904 created a very special evening for us. Thanks!

December 11th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was a chilly night at Hurricanes! Thanks for all who supported us! Sue stepped out early, she has a surgery at 5:30am. We are all praying it will be a success.

December 12th , Day off - I did the morning walked with Dan and then went to his studio and worked up a release for "Front & Center".

December 13th, DAVE Aunt Kate's - Cancelled due to weather! I finished a new song "2 Peas In A Pod". I have 3 new tunes to lay down now.

December 14th, DAVE at Caddyshack - It was one of my best nights, this place is fun. They're good people to work for Scott, Kim and staff are great! Food is great, try it out sometime.

December 15th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was a nice afternoon out on the porch by the water!

In the studio, I hope to work on a mix for "Cowboy Dream".  Also make some plans to finish up the next few tunes and if there's time lay down a new tune or so. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real!-David
