August 19th, Retrophonics Studios - I re-sung "In-Between", "Ride Like The Wind", "Front and Center" and "Cowboy Dream". Jim Devito worked on a western guitar part for "Ride Like The Wind" . Thanks Johnny Medico and Jim Devito it was a good day.

August 20th, Songwriter's Night at Oasis Tiki Bar -  It rained a little rain but that didn't stop us. We had a nice crowd and everyone did a great job. We missed Bob and hope he will be back for our next Songwriter's Night on September 17th so come check it out.

August 21st, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was a hot evening at Hurricane's. At least we were out in the open and it didn't rain.

August 22nd, Dan Bagan - Dan and I got together and did our walk and then put together a material order for  Poor-Dum

August 23rd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Tony couldn't make it so it was Sue, Frankie and I. We were under cover to stay out of the rain. It was a hot and muggy good time.

April 24th, OFF -  HAPPY BIRTHDAY Greg Ruggiero's nice party at his house. Theresa and I stopped by and saw our neighbor for a little bit. The music was getting ready to start when we were headed back to the house. They had quite a spread and Greg's rib's were great along with Bobby's bbq sauce.

August 5th, Retrophonics Studios  - Johnny Medico and I, with Jim at the board, started a new tune we wrote called "Dark Clouds". Jim also did some mixing on "Cowboy Dream". We took some time to throw around some ideas that we plan to implement in the near future. A couple ideas included Jim DeVito putting down some guitar tracks.

August 7th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It rained a little but that didn't stop us. It was good to hang out with my friends this evening and make some music.

August 8th - I was off today so I had the chance to get together with others at Gator Dockside to remember our friend Brady Green who passed away a year ago.

August 9th, 10th and 11th - DAVE at The Big Deck - It was another fun, but hot weekend in Cedar Key! It's amazing how quickly these folks recover from the weather damage. This is a special place you should check it out sometime.

I'm still working on Project #6.  I have co-written a song with Johnny Medico called "Dark Clouds" that we have started tracks on. Johnny is also helping me with "The Best Of Times". Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real!-David

July 29th, Retrophonics Studios - Jesse Cruce was in today playing some banjo and mandolin. We worked on "The Way It Is" and "Cowboy Dream"

July 31st, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was a great night! I set up inside because of rain the that never came. Adam Guthrie, a friend of Sue's, sat in with us. A great guy and a great musician. It was a real pleasure. Thanks Adam!

August 1st, DAVE and Sue at Oasis Tiki Bar - It was a nice warm evening at the Oasis Tiki Bar. See you on the 20th here for Songwriter's Night 6pm to 8pm.

August 2nd, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was a nice warm evening out on the porch by the water!

August 4th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's -  Cancelled due to weather.

July 22nd, Retrophonics Studios - Johnny worked on a drum part for "In-Between" also added percussion on "The Way It Is". It was a good day.

July 23rd, OFF  - I started on a new tune "Color Blue" (working title).

July 24th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Frankie was unable to make the show but Tony and Sue stepped up and hit it out of the park. Had a blast! See you this Friday!

July 25th, Bagan and Company - Dan and I did the morning walkout and then went into the studio and came up with a good idea for the first release from Project #6 my new solo CD. The song is "The Way It Is".

July 26th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Tony wasn't feeling well so we marched ahead with the three of us. We were under cover and it turned out to be for a good reason because it rained. We had a nice crowd though, met some new folks, had a good time. Get better Tony!

July 27th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - Michael Howard was under the weather so I filled in for him today. I had a nice afternoon on the porch by the water. Thanks Brian ans staff you guys are the best! See you August 2nd and 4th!

July 28th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at St. Augustine Fish House and Oyster  - It was a nice afternoon at The St Augustine Fish House. The rain stayed away!

It was a great week! I'm looking forward to getting in the studio on Monday with Jesse Cruce to add tracks to Project #6. Also looking forward to my walk and working on the art work for my release of "The Way It Is"a song from my new solo CD. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real!-David

July 9th, Retrophonics Studios - I replaced a rhythm guitar and added some parts on "The Way It Is"  and replaced the lead vocal. I replaced a finger picking guitar part on "In-Between" and tried to put a lead vocal on but it didn't happen. Also worked with Johnny on a song we are writing "Dark Clouds".  We didn't get to "Cowboy Song" but these will be the three we will complete first. I talked to Barry Dunaway and he is going to work up bass parts for "Making Rainbows" and " I Wish". It was a good day working with Jim and Johnny.

July 10th, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Frankie was sick so it was the DAVE and Sue show. We were under cover, it rained a little but didn't stop us. Always fun playing with the Queen Bee. Besides Wednesdays we will be at Hurricane's July 20th and July 26th.

July 12th, 13th and 14th, DAVE at The Big Deck - I had a great weekend! Rick (Yoko Says No) and Trish showed up from Virginia. We missed Darlene!

It's going to be a busy week. I'm looking forward to the studio and getting together with Dan Bagan. I have some ideas to run by him. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!!  Keepin' It Real! -David

July 3rd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was hot!!! But it was fun!

July 4th, DAVE and Sue at The World Famous Oasis Tiki Bar - Had a nice evening at the Oasis Tiki Bar! See you Saturday with Tony and Sue same place, same station!

July 5th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was warm but fun playing on the porch by the water! See you Sunday 1 to 4pm!

July 6th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony at The World Famous Oasis Tiki Bar - What a great night! Started out a little slow but man did it get going!

June 24th, Retrophonics Studios - I put a bass track on "Remember Me". Johnny Medico and I sat with guitar and piano and worked up arrangements and ideas for two new tunes "The Best Of Times" and "Dark Clouds". Our first of many co-writes I hope.

June 26th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings -  There was rain early so we set up under cover. It was a nice evening. See you next week!

June 27th thru July 2nd - I was off to Glacier Bay Lodge in Gustavus, AK Went to Gustavus, It was my birthday present from TT.  Thanks! We had a blast at the Glacier Bay Lodge where we stayed. I'm sure I will tell everyone about it as I see you. A trip to Alaska was on my bucket list.
