October 20, 2025, Retrophonics Studios - Jim and I laid down a version of "Coyote Calls" for a new video Dan and I will be working on.

October 21, 2025, Songwriter's Night at Oasis -  Another great Songwriter's Night in the books. Sam and John kicked butt! Bob was great as always. I tried 3 new songs tonight "Coyote Calls", "If She Asks" and "Whiskey Haze" (lyrics by W.Westcott).

October 22, 2025, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie with special guest Greg Ruggiero - Greg did a great job! It was a great night!

October 23rd, Bagan and Company, We had time to go for a neighborhood walk and then start the new video for "Coyote Calls"  and "Poor-Dum".

October 24th, Jekyll Island Shrimp and Grits Festival - Carpetbaggers (DAVE and Sue with Ed Pickett - We had a nice drive up to Jekyll Island. It was good to hear Eddie's show, he was covering for Scott Pallet. Eddie also joined me and Sue. The sound was not up to par so it was hard to really enjoy what we were doing. Eddie and Sue kicked butt and dragged me through a very uncomfortable evening. My hat goes off to Levi, the sound man, he stuck right with it and with all said and done it was good to play music with these two greats! Thanks Jekyll Island, Ed, Kristen and all the folks that when through that experience with us.

I'm looking forward to the studio this week. We're starting to get some traction  on where we are going with  my next CD "Shines A Light". Also looking forward to getting with Dan and working on the two new music videos. Thanks for letting me live my dream!!! Keepin' It Real!!-David

October 13, 2025 Retrophonics Studios - Johnny and I finished writing "Calculated Risk" and "Bounce" which we laid down a rough track. It was good to be in the studio working again.

October 14, 2025  OFF - I've started another Besley/Wayne Westcott tune "Dirty Little Secrets" the first one we wrote, Sue and I  are performing now called  "Whiskey Haze".

October 15, 2025 Hurricane Grill and Wings - Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie with special guest Al Donadi -  We had a great night at Hurricane's it was good to be back playing. Al did a great job! Frankie also kicked butt! We missed Sue! thanks everyone who showed up for our Wednesday night at Hurricanes.

October 16, 2025 Bagan and Company - Dan and I worked up an idea for a new video for "Coyote Calls", can't wait to actually see it finished.

October 17, 2025  DAVE at Tides & Oyster Bar - Sue still isn't feeling well so I went at the night alone. Had a great time good to chat with Dewey,Bret and TR (DVB) they came on after me. thanks Felicia, Mandy and staff you guys are the best!

October 18, 2025 DAVE at Caddyshack - It was another wonderful night at Caddyshack. Thanks Scott and staff you guys are the best!

October 19, 2025 DAVE at Aunt Kate's - I had another nice afternoon on the porch a couple of hours before the rain.

October 1, 2025  Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie at Hurricane Grill - We had a great night! Frankie and Sue are a real pleasure to make music with and the crowd was wonderful. We would like to thank JC, Noelle, Don & Sandra along with all the other great friends that helped make our night great! Also thanks to Abe, Albert and staff!

October 6 -11, 2025 Vacation to Montana and Yellowstone - Theresa and I  had a wonderful time in Yellowstone with our friends Lou and Diane. What a place!

September 16, 2025 Retrophonics Studios - Jim finished the final mix for "Cowboy Dream", Project #6 is complete! Johnny and I finished writing and recorded "Accept Goodbye" a new tune we wrote.

September 18, 2025 Bagan and Company - Dan and I did a 1/2 walk. Then went into the studio to work. We came up with a few ideas for Lou's song "Trying To Say Goodbye". It's a future release for The North Star Band's Kick Ass Country CD.

September 18, 2025 DAVE at Bike Night at the Pelican Pub Bike Night - It was Jeff's birthday. Also Jennifer and Jeff's last night as the Pelican Pub owners. I met the new owner Pam her husband Chris was out of town. I had a blast! Saw some ole friends!

September 19, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at Tides and Oyster Bar - It was a fun night even if I couldn't keep my head in the game. Sue said she felt the same way but I think it was me causing the confusion. Thanks for putting up with me tonight Sue and thanks to all the folks that were there watching us fight through the fog.

September 8, 2025 Retrophonics Studios - Jim, Johnny and I went through 13 new tunes we will consider for Shines a Light my new solo project. Then we moved 9 new tunes to the next Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Frankie and guests)  effort Say Grace. I'm going to be pretty busy in the studio for a while. Johnny and I will also be working on 3 new tunes we wrote "Accept Goodbye", "Bounce" and "Calculated Risk". Project #6 is in the rearview. Contact me if you want one.

September 10, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie at Hurricane Grill - A perfect night, not too hot, a nice breeze, a nice crowd. Sue and Frankie kicked butt. Thanks Abe, Albert and staff you guys are the best!

September 11, 2025 Bagan and Company - Dan and I worked on the graphics for two NSB releases "You Ain't All That" and "California Bound".

September 14, 2025 DAVE and Sue at Second Sundays at Stetson's - Sue and I had a great time. It was good to play our own music and Sue's violin pieces for a listening audience. We were invited afterwards to Romano's for dinner, it was a great day. Thanks Bob and Carol and the folks at the Stetson Kennedy Foundation.

August 25 - September 1, 2025 - Virginia - Theresa and I had fun visiting with our families in Virginia It's a long drive but we're learned to split it up. We hope to get back up that way in late December.

September 3, 2025 I was off so we met Barry and Lydia for dinner. It was great to hang out, it's been a minute.

September 4, 2025 Bagan and Company - Dan and I worked on Al's song "California Bound". We came up with some new ideas for a couple new projects.

September 4, 2025 DAVE and Sue at Oasis Tiki Bar - We had a great evening at the Tiki Bar. It's been a week or so since we played together. I'll see you back here for Songwriter's Night on September 16th.

September 5, 2025 DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was  a nice warm afternoon out on the porch by the water. I'm not sure it will be the same for Sunday but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

September 6, 2025 Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie with special guest Mickey Adams at Hurricane Grill and Wings - Mickey did a great job! It started to rain when we were about ready to quit. Thanks for supporting the Carpetbaggers.

Tony decided to leave the band. We wish him the best of luck in whatever he does. We will be a 3 piece for awhile at Hurricanes with some guests every now and then until we find the right person for the band.
