March 6th, Retrophonics Studios - Sue put violin tracks on "I Feel Love", "I'm So Gone" and she started on "Twilight" in two weeks she will return to finish "Twilight" and move onto "Harpoon Sadie". It was a great afternoon working with Jim DeVito and Sue.

March 7th, Bagan and Company "LIVE" - It was fun! Woody Pernell was on percussion. Frankie was under the weather. Woody did a great job as he always does. So did Sharon Resnikoff, what a talent! See you guys next month April 4th, put it on you calendar.

March 8th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It was a blast! The place was packed! Thanks Abe, Albert and staff, you guys are the best! And thanks to all the great folks that support Carpetbaggers Music!

March 9th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at The Beacon Listening Room - WE HAD A BLAST! A real nice crowd! Thanks to all the great folks at The Beacon Listening Room, your doing a great job! Thanks to the great folks that support Carpetbaggers Music!

March 10th, 11th and 12th, DAVE at The Big Deck - I had an abscess tooth.  It started on Wednesday but really blew up Friday morning. It was a crazy weekend somehow made it through. Thanks Darlene, Bryan and staff I always look forward to these shows no matter how I feel. See you in May 12, 13 and 14.

It's been an interesting week. We had Sue in the studio doing some great violin parts for the solo project I'm working on called Poor-Dum. I made some great music with my band mates. Thanks again Wood-Row you are the man. Looking forward to four days with the family on our cruise, see you sometime next week! Thanks for letting me live my dream! Keepin' It Real! -David

February 27th, Retrophonics Studios  - Woody Pernell was in to finish up his percussion parts. It was a pleasure working with the Wood-Man. Next up...Tony or Sue.

March 1st, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - It really was a great evening! The weather was perfect. Thanks Abe, Albert and staff you guys are the best!

March 3rd, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - It was a great afternoon to be on the porch by the water! The wind was definitely blowing in!

March 4th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony at San Sebastian Winery - Frankie was under the weather on a night when there was bad weather happening. Woody Pernell once again saved the day! Great job Wooodrow! Sue and Tony were a pleasure to play with as always. See you next month!

I missed getting together with Dan over at Bagan and Company to move along with The Big Lonesome Rides Again release, hopefully we'll get it next week. It was nice to get all of Woody's tracks down for my new solo project Poor-Dum. Next Sue has four more tunes to play on and the Tony has five or six tracks to do. Then it's Frankie, Sue and I doing vocals and it's done! Thanks for letting me live my dream! Keepin' It Real - David

February 21st,  Songwriter's Night at The Beacon Listening Room - It was another great night! Dave Rudolf and Sharon Resnikoff played some great songs. We were also honored to have Marc Douglas Berardo get up and play a couple of his tunes. Bob as always was the true statesman. I am very lucky to have him as my partner in this endeavor.

February 22nd, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony at Hurricane Grill and Wings - We had Laurence Stevenson sit in with us tonight on mandolin. Great job Laurence!

February 23rd, Bagan and Company- Dan and I fixed the spelling of the Hardscrabble video that we released on s social media and spelled it wrong. We also worked on the layout for "The Big Lonesome Rides Again" release.

It's nice to have a couple days off, I'm going to get some work done out in the yard. I'm looking forward to finishing up with Woody Pernell and his percussion parts on Poor-Dum my new solo project.  February 13th, Retrophonics Studios - I had Woody working today. He laid down some good stuff on "Ain't Life Grand", "Life Goes On", "Harpoon Sadie" and "Rocket". Woody will be with Jim and I next week to finish his parts on the rest of the project. Then it's Tony up to bat.

February 14th - Happy Valentines Day!

February 16th, Bagan and Company - Dan and I got "Hardscrabble" ready for release. The last of 12 songs that will soon be out on CD and thumb drive. The Big Lonesome Rides Again!

Woody has a bad back so he canceled our recording session for Poor-Dum for this coming Monday, I wasn't ready for anything else so I called Jim at Retrophonics Studios and canceled. February 4th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Tony at San Sebastian Winery - Frankie was under the weather so we were a three piece tonight. Everyone showed up a little ragged but right. Sue and Tony played their butts off. We had a great time, inside thank goodness.

February 5th, DAVE at Aunt Kate's - I had a nice time on the porch by the water. This is a great place to check out; good food, good people and a great view! Thanks Brian for hiring me to play at such a beautiful place.

February 8th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings -Beautiful night! We had a blast hangin' and playing with my band mates.

February 9th, Bagan and Company - Dan and I worked to get "My Chevrolet" ready to release, hopefully tomorrow. Thanks everyone for making our "LIVE" show a success see you again March 7th!

February 10th, 11th and 12th , DAVE at the Big Deck - The weather was awful, not much sun, a lot of wind and rain. There were few crazies but overall I just put my head down and played. It turned out to be a nice weekend, I feared the worse, some times that happens. Thanks to all the folks that came out, you guys are the best! See you next month!

January 23rd, Retrophonic's Studios - We worked on a mix "My Chevrolet" and did some work on "Rocket". I will be with Dan Bagan on Thursday, I hope we find that we have a mix of "Hardscrabble", if so, we are finished with The Big Lonesome Rides Again.

January 25th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at Hurricane Grill and Wings - I had a blast!  We ended the night with a good laugh and as Barry Dunaway would say "Frankie you crack me up". Another memorable "Desperado".

January 26th, Bagan and Company - I didn't work on anything with Dan today. He wasn't up for it, hopefully in a couple of weeks. 

January 26th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at The Beacon Listening Room - We had a great night at The Beacon. We are looking forward to our next date on February 9th.  Also don't forget about the Songwriter's Night on February 21st here at The Beacon Listening Room.

January 27th, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue, Tony and Frankie at St Augustine Fish House - Canceled due to weather, but we have booked some future dates at this venue. We'll keep you posted

January 29th thru February 3rd, In the recording studio with The North Star Band - We're starting our 4th release. It was great to get together with the boys. We worked hard and got a great start on our next project. We still had that North Star sound it was a trip to be a part of this project.

January 16th, Retrophonics Studios - Jim and I mixed "Don't Ever Let It Get You Down" and almost finished "My Chevrolet".

January 17th, Songwriter's Night at The Beacon Listening Room - Great night! Reggie and Lauren kicked butt! Thanks for supporting "LIVE" original music and thanks Micah Gilliam and Sue Westcott for joining us tonight.

January 18th, Carpetbaggers at Hurricane Grill and Wings - The place was packed! It's such a pleasure to play with this group. Tony was a little under the weather but only he knew it. Sue's finger tip was cut, a dish washing accident but only she knew it. Two real pros. It's always great to have Frankie join us, he is one of the best! Thanks for supporting the Carpetbaggers!

January 19th, Bagan and Company - We worked on the release of "Don't Let It Get You Down". A song I wrote with Chris McVey that will appear on The Big Lonesome Rides Again. Only one more tune to mix and we'll be on our way to a new release of an old project! Another song Chris and I wrote will appear on the new North Star Band project we will start at the end of January. 

January 20, Carpetbaggers DAVE and Sue at The Tide's Oyster Co. and Grill -  Felicia had some licensing problems and was unable to open. Hope to see you next month on February 17th.

January 21st, Carpetbaggers DAVE, Sue and Frankie at Borrillo's - We were canceled due to the weather.

January 22nd, DAVE Aunt Kate's - What a difference a day makes, was a nice afternoon on the porch by the water!

Looking forward to the studio this week. First I'm hoping to finish The Big Lonesome Rides Again by getting a final mix on "My Chevrolet" with special guests Jim DeVito and Jessie Cruce on guitars.
